Music of the NiGHTS

This picture was supposed to be very dark and romantic, but I feel like it came out either lifeless or creepy (then again, that could be my legendary self-doubt talking). I don't know. Tell me what you think!

For some reason, I've always thought that NiGHTS and Phantom of the Opera would fit great together. I've had this image in my head for months but never got a chance to draw it, so here it is! Obviously, Reala is the Phantom, and NiGHTS...looks like a character from Moulin Rouge for some reason. (don't ask, that's just how I pictured her) The idea is that they both are enveloped in his ridiculously huge cape (I'm not sure how obvious that was; I don't think I did it that well). This was also very much inspired by a famous painting that Alex Ross did of Harley Quinn and Joker. This picture was supposed to be dark and romantic, but I'm not sure how well I did that...I think I may have ruined the mood with the horrible pun that is the title. The song fits very well with this picture, I think. Man, I love that musical.

By the way, I've noticed that this is the third picture I've done where I put video game characters into obscure musicals. Maybe I should do those more. Also, this is my 30th Deviation! I think that's a big deal for some reason.
