The Wordsmith

In his travels, searching for the secret to immortality, Valjiro the plagued thief learned the story of The Wordsmith. The Wordsmith was an eternal being, incapable of speech but responsible for everyone else's, and the source of all language. Every letter of every word of every culture on earth was created by him. If there was a spell that could grant eternal life, The Wordsmith would know it. And Valjiro would find it.

I don't know about this. I feel like it's not very creative and is just ripped off from a whole bunch of other things, and I think the image composition itself is taken from something else. If this is gigantically ripping off something else, please tell me.
